The card you hope you'll never need

A paramedic has a few minutes and your locked phone. A steel card in your wallet tells them what you can't say at that moment.

The card you hope you'll never need

Nobody gets on a bike expecting a crash. But if it happens, the first minutes belong to a stranger who doesn't know your name, what you're allergic to or who to call. Your phone is locked, and you may not be able to answer.

ICE stands for In Case of Emergency. Paramedics everywhere look for those three letters in wallets and on key rings.

Only what matters

The card carries your blood type, allergies, chronic conditions, regular medication and a phone number for someone close. Every label is in Polish and English, because a crash on an Alpine pass looks the same as one round the corner.

What's not on it: ID number, address, policy or registration number. The card often hangs on your keys — it shouldn't reveal more than a paramedic needs. The back carries the advice in line with ERC guidelines: remove the helmet only if the rider isn't breathing.

Steel, not paper

A paper note is illegible after a season in a jacket pocket, and plastic wears off. Our card is blackened steel with laser engraving, payment-card size — with an optional hole for a key ring.
