1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by the browser on the device of the person visiting the website. Alongside them, the browser's local storage (localStorage) is used — it works in a similar way, but the data is not sent to the server with every request.

We do not use our own cookies for tracking. Without consent, the website stores nothing apart from the entry above.
Analytics and marketing — only with consent
They are activated only after your consent. “Essential + analytics” enables only Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity (statistics and session recordings, no advertising); “Accept all” also enables advertising pixels. Until then, their scripts are not loaded into the page at all.

These tools are activated only when their identifiers are provided in the website configuration. If the identifier field is empty, the script is not inserted even after consent is given.
Regardless of consent, we run our own anonymous visit counter that uses no cookies or other browser storage. It records only the type of event (page view, add to cart, checkout started, paid order), the page and the source of the visit (e.g. a UTM parameter or the referring website). It stores no IP address, browser data or any identifier, so it cannot identify a person.
3. How to change or withdraw consent
You can change your consent at any time: — the same banner will open, where you choose the scope of consent. Withdrawing consent does not remove data collected earlier; for that, write to office@ridespine.com.
Cookies can also be deleted and blocked in the browser settings. Blocking all cookies will not prevent the use of this website — there is no basket or login here that would require them.
